Denim Day with the WCA’s Bea Black

Explanations for the blue jeans today

Today is Denim Day, an annual recognition that what a person wears is not an invitation for sexual assault. Women’s and Children’s Alliance executive director Bea Black stopped by the show to share the history of the day, and gave us a snapshot of how demand for help has risen for her organization.

Pick up Denim Day swag at the WCA offices, 720 W. Washington St., Boise.
