Lunar Eclipse Viewing Tips

See it between 3 and 6 am May 26th

Diagram illustrating the May 26 lunar eclipse from https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/97/Lunar_eclipse_chart_close-2021May26.png.

“The umbral eclipse on May 26 will start at about 2:47am here in Boise and end at about 6:18 am.”

The moon will not be completely blacked out, what you can see will likely be dark red.

Information from this excellent blog post that explains lunar eclipses and includes a music video. Written by Brian Jackson, Associate Professor of Physics.
