Spider Nursery

I was cleaning up garden beds last weekend. They’re filled with worms, pill bugs and spiders.

Can you see the wolf spider in the photo? She’s next to the white ball, which is filled with her eggs. She carries it around until the babies hatch, and then they ride on her back until they’re big enough to be on their own.

This video makes it easier to see her.
