
A surprise in the uncontrolled patch of Jupiter’s beard last night, this impressive western tiger swallowtail butterfly.
They fly in slow loops and flutter when feeding.
Sometimes, they’re mistaken for monarch butterflies. Monarchs haven’t arrived in Idaho yet, and monarchs are orange.
