Outdoors expert Steve Stuebner is on 94.9 the River every Friday morning at 7:40. Today, he asked for help in finding ways to keep campsites clean.
This year has been extra trashy for some reason. It’s common for people to pile debris in fire rings when they leave. Or, not fully extinguish fires.
There aren’t enough staff on public lands to pick up the enormous about of stuff left behind.
He suggests bringing extra garbage bags to help pick up other people’s trash.
