The weather was perfect Friday night for Zoo Boise’s Zoobilee celebration, sponsored by Perkins Coie. Ken and I emceed the event.
Raffles, silent auctions and a live auction. Thank you to auctioneer Rose Backs with Elite Auction for all the fun.
More than $225,000 was raised! Part of that will help get the next zoo project off the ground. The red panda area of the zoo will be reimagined and remodeled.
The spinach slider on that plate is what everyone was talking about. All the fabulous food was donated by local companies.

I bid on this piece of zoo animal art in the silent auction. It was done by a sand cat.
The African wild dogs were not impressed.
